Measure circular objects on your plans. Perfect for circular linear extrusion lighting (ring-shaped LED fixtures), as well as columns, pipes, and other round fixtures.
Overview
The Ring tool lets you draw circles to measure round objects - ideal for calculating LED strip length for ring-shaped lighting fixtures. Plan Count calculates the real-world diameter and circumference based on your scale settings.

How to Use
Activating the Ring Tool
- Press R to switch to the Ring tool
- Click the Linear tab and select "Draw Ring"
Drawing Rings
- Click on the center point of the circular object
- Drag outward to set the radius
- Release to complete the ring
The diameter displays in real-time while drawing.
Resizing Rings
- Select the ring
- Drag the edge inward or outward
- The measurement updates automatically
