Overview
Annotation tools let you mark up your drawings with visual annotations:

Annotation Types
Cloud Box
Cloud boxes are scalloped-edge rectangles commonly used for revision markups. They can contain text and are exported with your PDF.
Text Annotation
Text annotations are rectangular sticky-note style annotations for adding comments, instructions, or reminders to your plans.
Highlight
Highlights are semi-transparent colored regions that draw attention to specific areas without obscuring the underlying content.
How to Use
Drawing Annotations
- Press the keyboard shortcut for your annotation type
- Click and drag to draw a rectangle
- Release to create the annotation
- Double-click to edit text (for Cloud Box and Text Annotation)
Editing Annotations
- Select an annotation to show resize handles
- Drag to move the annotation
- Drag handles to resize
- Double-click to edit text content
