Features Overview
Plan Count provides a complete toolkit for electrical takeoffs from PDF construction plans.
Takeoff Modes
Plan Count supports three types of takeoffs:
Symbols
Count electrical symbols using pattern-matching rules or manual stamping. Organize by type (lighting, power, fire, data) and filter by zone.
Linear
Measure cable runs, LED strips, and conduit. Draw paths on your PDF and calculate real-world lengths based on your scale setting.
Zones
Filter counts by area or measure floor space. Draw polygons to include/exclude symbols or calculate m²/ft² for flooring and paint estimates.
