Account & Billing

Manage your Plan Count account, subscription, and credits from the Account Settings page.

Accessing Account Settings

1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the app
2. Select Account from the dropdown menu

Alternatively, navigate directly to /account in your browser.

Profile Section

The profile section displays:

• Name - Your display name (editable)
• Email - Your account email address
• Tier badge - Your current subscription tier (FREE, BASIC, GROWTH, or TEAM)
• Member since - The date you created your account
• Referral code - Your unique 8-character code for inviting others

Editing Your Name

1. Click the pencil icon next to your name
2. Type your new name
3. Press Enter or click the checkmark to save
4. Press Escape or click the X to cancel

Referral Code

Every user gets a unique referral code that can be shared to earn bonus credits.

Finding Your Code

Your referral code appears in the Profile section of your Account Settings page. It looks like this: ABC123XY

Using a Referral Code

When signing up, new users can enter a referral code to receive 50 bonus credits. The person who shared the code also receives 50 credits when the new user completes signup.

Share Link Referrals

When someone views a project you shared and signs up for an account through that share link, both you and the new user receive 50 bonus credits.

Security

Changing Your Password

If you signed up with email and password (not Google), you can change your password:

1. Go to Account Settings
2. Find the Security section
3. Click Change Password
4. Enter your current password
5. Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)
6. Enter the new password again to confirm
7. Click Change Password to save

Password requirements:

• Minimum 8 characters
• Must be different from your current password

TIP

Use the eye icon to toggle password visibility while typing.

Google-Only Accounts

If you signed up using Google Sign-In, password login is not available. The Security section will display a message indicating this.

Forgot Password

If you forgot your password:

1. Go to the Login page
2. Click Forgot password?
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your email for a 6-digit reset code
5. Enter the code and your new password

Subscription

The subscription section shows your current plan details:

• Current plan - FREE, BASIC, GROWTH, or TEAM
• Renews on or Ends on - Your next billing date (paid plans only)
• Monthly credits - How many credits your plan provides

Upgrading Your Plan

1. Click Upgrade to Pro (for FREE users) or visit the Pricing page
2. Choose between monthly and annual billing (annual saves 2 months)
3. Select your plan (BASIC, GROWTH, or TEAM)
4. Complete checkout through Stripe

Managing Your Subscription

Paid subscribers can access the Stripe billing portal:

1. Go to Account Settings
2. In the Subscription section, click Manage Billing
3. The Stripe portal opens where you can:
   • Update payment method
   • View invoices
   • Change or cancel your plan

Canceling Your Subscription

1. Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe portal
2. Select Cancel subscription
3. Confirm cancellation

After canceling:

• You keep access until your billing period ends
• Your account reverts to FREE tier after that date
• Your projects remain accessible but subject to FREE tier limits

Reactivating a Canceled Subscription

If you canceled but your billing period hasn't ended yet:

1. A warning banner appears on your Account page showing the cancellation date
2. Click Reactivate to restore your subscription
3. Your plan continues as normal with no interruption

Usage

The usage section shows your current consumption:

Credit Balance

Your remaining credits for uploading PDFs. Credits are consumed when you upload PDF pages (1 credit per page).

PDFs Stored

Number of PDFs currently stored in your account versus your plan limit.

Storage Used

Total storage consumed by your PDFs versus your plan limit. A progress bar shows usage percentage.

Credit History

View recent credit transactions:

Free Tier

New users start on the FREE tier with:

• 20 signup credits
• Limited storage
• Exports cost credits (1 per PDF page, 2 for CSV)

How Credits Work

• 1 credit = 1 PDF page uploaded
• Subscription credits reset monthly (do not accumulate)
• Paid plans get unlimited exports at no additional credit cost
• FREE tier users pay credits for exports

Team Plan Details

The Team plan ($199/month) includes:

• 5 team member seats

• Shared team workspace
• Project editing collaboration

Adding Team Seats

Team owners can expand capacity by purchasing additional seats:

Team Billing

Team plan owners can access team-specific billing at /team/billing:

• View team seat breakdown
• Purchase additional seats
• Manage team subscription
